LCVS is a charity working in a variety of ways to support the health and wellbeing of communities and individuals.

We support community groups to get established, survive and thrive by providing help and guidance with paperwork and governance, resources, sourcing funding and finding and training volunteers.

We promote volunteering through our four accredited Volunteer Centres, matching would-be volunteers with opportunities and supporting volunteer involving organisations to recruit, train and retain volunteers.

In addition, the LCVS Healthy Living Team works to help individuals achieve personal health goals and supports health-related community projects
